planEASe® Privacy Policy

planEASe Software (“planEASe,” “we”) provides commercial real estate analysis software and free online financial calculators at planease.com. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Information we collect

• Subscribers: name, company, address, phone, email, and optionally your website and how you heard about us. Your billing address is also used to calculate sales tax where required.
• Account activity: login history and the analysis files you save in your planEASe folder.
• Support: emails and messages you send us.
• Payments: card payments are processed by Elavon (Converge). Your card number goes directly to Elavon and never reaches our servers.
• Waitlists and updates: the email address you give us when you ask to be notified about a product.
• Visits: our server logs record IP address, pages requested, browser type and time. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools give us aggregate information about how the site appears in search.

Free tools and AI assistants

The free calculators run in your browser, and what you enter is not stored on our servers. When you copy a share link, your inputs are in the link address, so anyone with the link can see them. Please keep confidential details out of titles.

When you use planEASe through an AI assistant such as Claude, the assistant sends the values for your calculation to our server, which returns the result and a link. We log only the time, IP address and which tool was called, not the numbers you entered. Your conversation with the assistant is handled by its provider under its own policy.

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you signed in and make the site work. If you choose to save your login, we store a cookie for that. We use no advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites, so we do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Who we share information with

Only service providers that help us run planEASe: Elavon (payments), MailerLite (marketing email), SmarterEmail (receipts and support email), and our web hosting provider (hosting and backups). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Our pages load code libraries, video players and fonts from outside content delivery networks, including Google, Cloudflare, BootstrapCDN and Flowplayer. These servers receive your IP address and browser type when your browser requests those files. On the order page, the zip code you type is sent to a zip-lookup service (zippopotam.us) to fill in your city and state.

Email

We send receipts and support replies as needed. We may send product news to customers and to people who sign up for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

How long we keep information

We keep account and billing records while your account is active and afterward as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. You can delete your saved analysis files at any time. Deleted files may remain in routine backups at our web host for a limited time. Server logs are kept for a limited time and cleared periodically.

Security

Our site uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect what you give us.

California residents and your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop marketing email. Contact us through our Support Center at https://planease.com/SupportCenter.aspx. We may need to verify your identity, we respond within 45 days, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.

Children

planEASe is for adult professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
