  • video note: The Assumption Set specifications is where you enter some general information about the Assumption set that you're going to be working on. The investment name is the title that's going to default to be in all the reports. The APOD purpose, property location, and property type are only used in the APOD report and they're for narrative purposes only. And the square-feeder units, anytime you put a number less than 10,000, like 100, it will default to be a unit type investment, like apartments or self storage. Anytime you put a number over 2,000, it will be a square feet type property like a office or retail. Fiscal your starts on allows you to decide which month you want your reports to start on. If you don't know what that is, pick January. And the comments here are only going to be associated with the file itself. They will never be in any report for printing. So if you have comments and you want to keep to the file itself, this is where you put them. When you click OK, this will bring you into the Assumption Edit screen. If you want to get back to that screen to the bottom right, double click in the white area where you entered the title and that will bring up and you can change any of the investment information.
