Page Setup controls how planEASe reports print and how they appear when saved as a web page — accessed from Print or File menu on any screen.
Style presets: Load From Style — Default uses grayscale with dark text. Create custom styles for different purposes (fax-friendly, presentation-friendly, etc.).
Background/Shading: controls both print background and web page background color. Shading options: None = white background, black text (best for faxing). Light to Heavy = grayscale shades. Color = opens the Windows color picker (16.7 million colors) — enter exact RGB values to match a brand color, or pick visually; adjustable lightness/darkness on the right side of the picker.
Font colors per section: Title, Subtitle, Footer, Body each have independent color settings — click any to open the color picker. Best practice for dark backgrounds: set Title and Subtitle to white text over a dark color background (e.g. dark green) — this displays correctly in color and still works if printed in black and white (renders as white text on dark gray). Footer and Body are typically left black.
Fonts: click any section's font area to choose from all fonts installed on your machine. Note: only the font family can be changed here — style (bold/italic) and size are controlled elsewhere and adjust automatically. Fitting more on one page: planEASe automatically shrinks font size down to 6pt to fit content, but choosing a narrower font (e.g. Arial Narrow instead of regular Arial) fits significantly more content before shrinking is needed. Avoid italic for maximum page density.
Page Footer style: None (clean, client-ready printing with no date stamp) or include print date and/or file name (useful for your own working copies to track when something was printed).
Margins: adjustable in Page Setup.
Saving custom styles: Save As Style, enter a name and description, click Save — the new style appears in the Load From Style list for reuse on any future report. Switch between saved styles anytime via Load From Style.
