How to control and customize pie charts in planEASe. All chart controls work the same way across every chart in the software. Explode Segment: drop down to see all segments listed by name — click any segment to pop it out for emphasis; use up/down arrow keys to move through segments while the menu is open. Chart Type: different report areas offer different chart type options. Fonts: change the font used inside the chart. Color Wheel: sets the starting color — planEASe then sequences through the color list from that starting point. Example: starting at Light Gray sequences Light Gray → Gray → Blue → Green. Starting at Gray sequences Gray → Blue → Green → Light Cyan. Starting at Light Magenta sequences Light Magenta → Yellow → ... → Blue → Green. Choose the starting color to control which color lands on the segment you want to emphasize. Label Lines: toggle segment label lines on/off. 3D Effect: toggles between 3D and 2D chart appearance. Dollar Labels: toggles dollar amount labels on each segment. Percentage Labels: toggles percentage labels on each segment. Perspective: when on, a slider appears at bottom right — scroll up/down to tilt and rotate the 3D chart perspective.
