How to set up a Partnership/LLC analysis in planEASe. Recommended workflow: first create the investment analysis as a standard .RU file using the investment type movies; then convert it to a partnership file using File / Convert Assumptions. Alternatively: File / New Model, switch to Partnership (.RP) model, open the converted file, and add partnership assumptions — preferred return, member distributions, funding page, working capital, fees, and unit/cash distribution patterns. See Movie / Partnership for detail on each partnership assumption page. Note: starting directly in the partnership model limits some reports compared to converting from an investment file.
